Another day, another rail adventure! Today, travel through the Swiss countryside en route to Montreux. Set at the base of the Alps, nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva and surrounded by vineyards, it’s no surprise Montreux is so appealing to travellers. There really is no better way to see Switzerland than by train, a fact that becomes truly apparent aboard the Glacier Express – the world’s slowest express.
